Friday, Nov 26, 2010: Bridge is repaired and tested, trail is open and... the Kalaupapa Guided Mule Tours have resumed!
Taking Mule Ride Reservations now.
Mahalo to the National Park Service for being extremely responsive with efforts to repair the damaged trail. Re-training and preparing of mules to trek over the new bridge as well as cardio conditioning have also been completed. We thank you very much for your understanding. Mahalo!
